At RCI Village, we not only provide affordable housing, but we also create a community environment where neighbors get to know each other and we have fun. Getting to know your neighbors makes you feel safe, gives you a sense of belonging, and an opportunity for people to socialize who often feel isolated and alone.
This Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for our friends at Metro Design Center who have gifted us with new flooring! Their team did an amazing job of updating our entryway and kitchen floors in our community center and replacing dated flooring on the stairs in one of our apartment buildings. We are sending a heartfelt thank you from all of us here at RCI!
Please help us thank our amazing team of volunteers from Capital Blue Cross for their hard work on the United Way’s Day of Caring! They shampooed carpets, power washed our front porch, landscaped, and cleaned their hearts out. Thanks for giving your time and energy to support our RCI community! And thanks to our friends at the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley for your help in coordinating such a great event.
RCI is hiring a Program Director for our Community Building Center. You can learn more on our website, here. Please help us spread the word!
Thank you, Trexler Trust!
Please join us in thanking the Harry C. Trexler Trust for their generous grant of $125,000 to support our work and mission in Allentown!
We are deeply grateful to the Trexler Trust for their on-going partnership. This year, in particular, their support will make it possible for us to care for and walk with our most vulnerable community members, whose needs continue to evolve as a result of the complex impacts of the pandemic.
